We are living at a tipping point, in dangerous times. It no longer seems certain that democracy is – and should remain – our norm. But nothing has been decided yet. Wolf Iro, born in 1970, studied Comparative Literature and Slavic Studies at Cambridge, Oxford and Moscow. He obtained his PhD from LMU Munich with a thesis on Isaak Babel.
