“To be or not to bus” tells the story of a girl at the Albert Schweizer Grammar School in the town of X. Our (not-so-famous) Taylor rushes from class to class, from appointment to appointment – and throughout it all, one person won’t let her go: Hamlet. Ever since she gave a presentation on Shakespeare’s famous theatrical character, Hamlet has been haunting her thoughts.
An unfortunate encounter with some adults means that Taylor misses her bus home. During what feels like an eternity, standing alone at the bus stop, she begins to reflect. On herself, her role as a teenager in our society, on Hamlet, on love – and on a world that’s gone off the rails…
