Voices of the Opposition III . Our sword is called love
Texts from the Iranian protest movement read by Paula Dieckmann and Joris Löschburg.
Since the death of Jina Mahsa Amini in 2022, Iran has been in an ongoing uprising. A revolutionary movement has emerged out of protest, openly challenging the regime. Women are at the centre: they are taking off the veil and demanding freedom, justice and equality. Despite violence, arrests, executions and censorship, the resistance remains highly visible. The reading gives space to important voices of the opposition - voices that are not silenced despite censorship, violence and repression.
