„Soft Story“
Vernissage of the exhibition "Soft Story", curated by Aleksandra Gisges-Dalecka.
"Soft Story" is an exhibition of works by 8 artists for whom textile art is not just a medium, but also a form of storytelling - personal, symbolic and emotional.
The softness of the material, the flexibility of the form and the deep sensuality of the fabric provide a starting point for reflection on the experiences, memories and nature of women as well as the present and cultural change.
Each artist represents a different area of this incredibly diverse art form. Their works show the range of the textile language - from classical techniques to formal experiments and activities on the borderline of sculpture, installation and conceptual art.
"Soft Story" invites you to immerse yourself in the world of fabric - a medium that speaks in a whisper and yet conveys a strong message. At STRAZE, visitors have the opportunity to discover diverse perspectives of artistic expression and sensitivity. The artists have created a multi-layered narrative that interweaves emotion, masterful craftsmanship and contemporary contexts in artistic fabric.
The artists include Beata Budzeń, Anna Domaradzka, Agnieszka Chrzanowska-Małys, Aleksandra Gisges-Dalecka, Agnieszka Kaczmarska, Anna Kaplun-Buryk, Katarzyna Mazgaj and Dominika Odrowąż.
