Impressions of a visit to Fair Trade partners
Two fair trade activists are giving a talk at STRAZE today. They will share their impressions of their visit to fair trade partners and give exciting insights into the production conditions of fair trade as well as their meetings with producers and civil society actors.
This evening will shed light on important questions:
- Under what conditions are fair trade products produced in the global South?
- How does fair trade improve local working and living conditions?
- What after-effects does apartheid still have on politics and society today?
There will also be a report from the meeting of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO).
Start: 7 p.m.
Admission: free
