An evening of theater against age discrimination - with Teatr Brama.

The performance "The Body" by Teatr Brama was created as part of the "Age Against the Machine" project, which deals with the issue of ageism. The performance is the result of a cross-generational group that explored questions relating to the body, identity, the cult of youth and ageism. Does the body define us and does it form our identity? To what extent is it just a shell behind which we hide? We want to escape the body, we want to control it or we want to expose it.
We are looking for a body that is free from conventions and authority. We are looking for a way to free ourselves from the constraints of our appearance so that we can live, work and love according to our own ideas.
The body is a mysterious tool that we use every day, even though we do not fully understand the instructions associated with it. The body is also our personal timepiece. Dreams of freedom do not disappear. They give hope. They vibrate in our bodies.

The performance is part of the 1st ID:Pomerania festival "ROŚNIJ RAZEM - ZUSAMMEN WACHSEN - GROW TOGETHER" as part of the ID: Pomerania project, funded by the Interreg VI A cooperation program Mecklenburg-Vorpommern / Brandenburg / Poland 2021-2027.

The STRAZE is wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. All toilets are all-gender toilets. A limited number of beanbags are available as alternative seating.
