Vernissage for the exhibition "Pigments of Pomerania" by Julia Żmuda with live music by Niklas Bladt (piano) and Stephan Busse (double bass).

The exhibition "Pigments of Pomerania" by Julia Żmuda shows textile compositions that have been dyed or woven with regional materials. The motifs depicted refer to the folklore, fauna and flora of the Pomeranian region and show the similarities on both sides of the border. Through the natural dyeing techniques, the viewer is invited to focus his attention on a simplified view of his surroundings, focusing mainly on their coloration. Illustrative forms mingle with abstract depictions, inviting the viewer to answer the question "What is Pomerania?" for themselves.

The exhibition opening will be accompanied by music from Niklas Bladt (piano) and Stephan Busse (double bass).

The exhibition can be visited from 10.09. to 17.09., daily from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the course room (afterwards it will continue until 31.10. in the corridors on the upper floor of the STRAZE).

The exhibition and vernissage are part of the 1st ID:Pomerania festival "ROŚNIJ RAZEM - GROW TOGETHER - GROW TOGETHER" as part of the ID: Pomerania project, funded by the Interreg VI A cooperation program Mecklenburg-Vorpommern / Brandenburg / Poland 2021-2027.

The STRAZE is wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. All toilets are all-gender toilets. A limited number of beanbags are available as alternative seating.
