Pome fruit variety show and supporting program

The cultural heritage of the regions of Western Pomerania and Mecklenburg also includes fruit varieties and the cultivation technique of grafting. The event will focus on the question of how we can rediscover, preserve and propagate the good old varieties for the future. The highlight of the conference is a pome fruit show with 200 varieties, mainly apples and pears. Guests who wish to have their fruit identified should bring 5-6 typical fruits of each variety in airy packaging (€2 will be charged per variety).
