Erlebnispädagogik und Klimagerechtigkeit
In the workshop, we will look at approaches and methods that we can use to encourage people to help build a better future.
Empowering people for socio-ecological change
Global learning and education for sustainable development aim to contribute to a fundamental socio-ecological transformation of society. A major challenge here is the gap that exists between knowledge of the need for change and everyday action.
In this workshop, we will look at approaches and methods that we can use to empower people to help build a better future. We will look at an approach from positive psychology that looks at the so-called psychological resources that support people in perceiving a change towards more sustainability and justice not as a threat, but as something worth striving for and shaping. To this end, you will get to know methods from experiential education, which we will transfer from concrete experiences in the group to the social level in the workshop. Don't be afraid of the big questions - it should all be doable with young people.
So you are invited to think about these questions with us and consider together how you can encourage your participants to do the same. It's not about convincing anyone of anything and imposing an opinion, but about motivating people to think differently about themselves and the world. We want to create a link between "transformative learning for sustainable development"/global learning and experiential education.
