What exactly is a moor, and where can they be found? Why are moors important for the climate? How can moors be used for agricultural purposes?
These and other questions are answered in an exhibition organised by the Greifswald Moor Centrum and the Michael Succow Foundation, which will be on display at the Hans Fallada Municipal Library in Greifswald from 17 September to 17 November 2026.
The exhibition presents interesting facts about bogs and highlights potential uses for products from paludiculture. To mark the opening, Christina Lechtape from the Michael Succow Foundation will be giving a guided tour of the exhibition. Meet in the foyer of the City Library. Admission is free.
