Today, the Dream Magic Tree has grown a Dream Leaf for the children, telling the story of Mimmelitt, the town rabbit. Together with Moosmutzel, the forest spirit girl, Mimmelitt sings the Dream Leaf to life. No sooner have the two of them greeted the sun with their ‘morning grouch’ exercise routine than the big, fat tomcat Leopold turns up. He doesn’t want to be alone tonight, because a squeaky secret is on the way!
An iron ghost! He’s heard some dreadful, spine-chilling sounds. Pff, Mimmelitt’ll sort out that mystery in a jiffy, yep! But the Dream Magic Tree and the children will have to help. Then the moment arrives: right in the middle of the starry night, the dreadful squeaking draws ever closer. After a great scare, it turns out that the squeaking mystery is Knight Adelbert, a very old, rusty weathercock. He wants nothing more than a bit of lubricating oil, some paint and a roof, oh dear! An adventurous rescue mission begins. Will Mimmelitt and the friends of the Dream Magic Tree, joining forces, manage to make Adelbert’s dream come true?
