The Volksstadion once again becomes a Christmas backdrop: With a lantern parade, Christmas carol singing and a Christmas village for the whole region. Admission is free.

On 19 December 2026, the Christmas Singing in the Volksstadion will once again be inviting families, friends and all Christmas enthusiasts to a special Advent afternoon from 16:00. As always, admission is free - because we want to give something back to the city and the entire region with this event.

Traditionally, the afternoon starts with an atmospheric torchlight and lantern parade before the most beautiful Christmas carols are sung together in the festively decorated stadium. You can look forward to a large stage with a musical programme, many shining moments and a very special Christmas atmosphere.

Of course, there will once again be the popular Christmas village with numerous food and drink stalls - perfect for warming up, enjoying and socialising. Together we want to celebrate the pre-Christmas season and experience an unforgettable evening full of community, music and Christmas spirit.
