On Sunday, 21 June 2026, we will celebrate the summer solstice at the beautiful Ludwigsburg Palace and Estate: a magical moment that marks the beginning of summertime.
From 8.00 p.m., you can look forward to a special celebration in the annual cycle, where tradition and music merge in an enchanting way. The minstrels "Rabengesang" will take you on a journey through time and play songs from the past to the present - to listen to and sing along to. The highlight of the evening is the ceremonial lighting of the solstice bonfire at around 10.00 pm, a ritual that brings the power and magic of the summer solstice bonfire to life.
Catering will be provided. Admission is free - we ask for donations for the musicians and the support association.
By the way: Earlier in the day, there will be an opportunity to visit the castle from the inside as part of the MidsummerRemise. The association's kitchen will remain open between the two events.
