Daily harbour - Ryck & Bodden cruises on a historic ship
Harbour- Ryck- & Bodden- round trip on a historic ship. Museum harbour - Wieck - Ludwigsburg
"Cast off!" is the motto in Germany's largest museum harbour in the Hanseatic city of Greifswald, where we can marvel at one or two historic ships. Passing the marvellous backdrop of the Hanseatic city, we follow the Ryck along the towpath and take in the unique flora and fauna of the salt marshes.
After a short stop in front of the bridge in Wieck, we experience another highlight of the tour:
The sensational passage of the wooden bascule bridge in Wieck, built in 1887.
We leave the harbour of the picturesque fishing village of Wieck behind us and set course for the Dänische Wiek, which we reach after passing the imposing barrier. Pointing the bow towards Greifswalder Bodden, we keep an eye out for seals and sea eagles. Here we can observe sailing ships, yachts and fishermen during their manoeuvres.
If the weather permits, we will dock briefly in Ludwigsburg if necessary.
On the way back, we moor again briefly in Wieck. If you wish, you can disembark to explore the fishing village or the monastery ruins of Eldena.
Duration: just over 2 hours.
