Panel discussion with experts from socioculture in DK and DE

Open, communal spaces promote democracy. The exhibition A Common Room provides inspiring examples from Denmark. Against this backdrop, together with experts from Denmark and Germany, we will take a look at Danish and German community cultures with their socio-cultural associations, projects and initiatives and ask what vibrant communities need, what we can learn from each other and how cohesion can be strengthened through dialogue, debate and discussion.

The panellists are

Imke Freiberg - Director of the St. Spiritus Socio-Cultural Centre
Mathias Irminger Sonne - Embassy Counsellor for Communication, Culture and Public Diplomacy
Stefanie Jentzsch - Director of the Lubmin Adult Education Centre
Lasse Rodewald - Secretary General of Sydslesvigsk Forening
Chair: Clemens Räthel - Chair of Modern Scandinavian Literatures at the Institute for Fennistics and Scandinavian Studies at the University of Greifswald

Entrance Caspar-David-Friedrich-Straße.
Admission is free.
