Cycle tour "Discovering urban nature" - on the way to trees, meadows and natural gardens
As part of the CITY CYCLING programme, the city of Greifswald invites you to take part in a guided bike tour. An employee from the environmental department will accompany you on a 17-kilometre tour to various locations in the city. Specific examples will be used to show what challenges urban trees face - for example due to construction work, drought or limited root space - and what measures can contribute to healthier trees and more biodiversity in the city.
The tour starts and ends at St. Spiritus. The travelling exhibition of Naturgarten e. V., which presents ideas for nature-oriented gardens and biodiversity-promoting design, will be shown there during the same period. Afterwards, there is the opportunity to visit the Nordic Sound dance afternoon.
Participation is free of charge, registration is requested.
