Cycling through the Tien Shan Mountains (Kyrgyzstan) with Dr Anna Mróz
TravelStories for city cycling
Bicycle, 20 kg of luggage and more than 600 kilometres through the wild high mountains of Kyrgyzstan. Passes up to 3500 metres, temperatures between -2 and 36 degrees, 21 days on the road, borne by curiosity, doubt, strength and the desire to keep going. This lecture is more than just a travel story. It is about slowly growing into your own strength, trusting your own intuition and taking on big challenges. It is a tale of travelling to the rhythm of nature, of the meditative scaling of heights, of the clarity that arises when everything superfluous falls away. Of small moments that suddenly become big. And of encounters that create connections even without many words. Above all, however, it is the experience of a simple, powerful feeling: I can do this.
