DIAS is the result of a friendship in the noughties in Stralsund that was characterised by Plattenbau, MTV and skate parks. Even before the band was founded, Mätti, Philipp, Patrick and Paul were already throwing their interpretation of alternative rock at the world - together since 2014 and with German-language lyrics. Today, they look back with gratitude on a diverse range of releases, tours and special encounters and draw the strength for new things from them. The music of the four guys builds a bridge between heavy guitar riffs and melodic pop rock. It ranges from anthems to noise, sometimes familiar, sometimes new - always endeavouring to explore their own boundaries anew. Their melancholy lyrics offer a projection surface - an invitation to sing along, shout it all out or simply lose yourself in it.
