An Armenian with a Pomeranian dialect, German lyrics about facets of life, cross-style music as an outlet - sounds exciting? That's exactly what "ARTUR" (formerly Artur & Band) has been bringing to the country's stages for over 10 years now!
A band that plays in the summer rain, that reflects the vastness of the North German coastal landscape in its songs, that makes hearts beat faster and touches them. "ARTUR" are known for their calm and heart-bass vibrating tones, but they also have danceable and intoxicating songs in store, which come into their own all the better live. No two concerts are the same, improvisation and interaction are always part of the performance. Looking back on countless concerts, including sold-out city halls and theatres, airplay on German radio stations and the first car concert ever to take place in northern Germany - organised and performed entirely by the boys - it is clear that they are definitely in tune with the times! The band around "ARTUR", consisting of Malte Krüger-Redwanz (guitar), Sven Köppert (bass), Artur Apinyan (piano & vocals) and Lukas Depenthal (drums), elevate the concert experience to an absolute goosebump level and pick up every generation musically where they are right now.
