Long opening evening of the exhibition on the 220th birthday of Hans Christian Andersen with his fairy tale worlds and silhouettes as well as with
works by contemporary artists. Kat Menschik, Ruth Tesmar, Grazyna Lupa, Anne Wende, Christel Hoff, Günter Grass and their works on Hans Christian Andersen. Exhibition design and works on paper: Xenia Hufschmidt

Stencil printing workshop with the artist Anne Wende from Western Pomerania with motifs by Andersen. You are welcome to bring light-colored fabric to print on.

Tip: For the Fantakel Festival, we will be showing the Hans Christian Andersen play "The Nightingale" with the Seebühne Hiddensee on Sun, 28.09.2025 at 19.00, the artist Ruth Tesmar (Schwerin), who designed the stage set, will be present, we will open the exhibition before and after the play and after the play we can talk to Ruth Tesmar and puppeteer Karl Huck in the gallery about the work on "The Nightingale".
