Fair flowers - With flowers for human rights

Only one in five flowers bought in Germany is grown here. Many come from countries around the equator, where mostly women have to work for starvation wages and under inhumane conditions.
The focus is on the following topics: Trade routes and marketing of flowers worldwide, production and working conditions as well as ecological and health effects. But also the special situation of women in the flower industry and alternative courses of action for consumers, local authorities, churches and the flower trade.
