Heimatliche literarische Entdeckungen – Streiflichter regionaler Kulturgeschichte
This course invites you on a literary journey through the cultural history of Pomerania - a region that was long regarded as a symbol of war and cultural marginalization.
But behind this image lies a diverse literary landscape that needs to be rediscovered.
Using selected texts from the baroque lyricist Sibylla Schwarz to contemporary authors such as Judith Schalansky, we explore voices associated with Pomerania and Greifswald in particular. Travelogues, poems, memoirs and narrative prose open up new perspectives on an often forgotten region and inspire us to rediscover and think further.
Take part in this literary search for traces - and let yourself be inspired to see the familiar anew and discover the unknown.
