Greifswalder Europagespräch „Sicherheit im Ostseeraum“
Current threats and common solutions
The Europa-Union Vorpommern-Greifswald would like to invite you to the Greifswald Europe Talk on the topic of "Security in the Baltic Sea Region. Current threats and common solutions". This time we welcome Christina Stremming, member of the board of the Interdisciplinary Research Center Baltic Sea Region at the University of Greifswald and expert in this field.
Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is calling for us to be "ready for war" by 2029. At the same time, hybrid attacks on infrastructure in the Baltic Sea are on the rise and the USA is questioning NATO alliance commitments. But what does this mean in concrete terms for the security situation in the Baltic Sea region? What role do NATO, Germany and our neighbors play in this? What changes and cooperations are taking place? We would like to discuss these questions with our guest and you.
