A small town on the Peene River, south of the island of Usedom. Lassan, a place like it was a hundred years ago. Most of the people living there are elderly, many of whom stayed after fleeing from the East. But there are also many newcomers from east and west, north and south. There are parallel cultures, old and new.
Gentle tourism attracts special vacationers. Some stay forever.
