Kräuter- und Räuchermarkt (Frühlingsmarkt)

Colorful market activity and live music - 20 years of the "Alte Elektrowerkstatt"

The Ludwigsburg palace and estate grounds are once again starting the 2025 season with the traditional spring market. In 2024, the spring market had to be canceled due to ongoing construction work; now visitors can already take a look at the results of the restoration work. On Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., numerous traders will be offering their products under the motto: "From the region - for the region". From 1.30 pm, the 1st Pomeranian Wind Orchestra Wolgast e. V. will be playing in the castle courtyard. The workshop of the Pomeranian Artists' Association will open its doors to young and old from 11.00 am. Children can have their faces painted. The castle can be visited during the market. The "Alte Elektrowerkstatt" exhibition is celebrating a special anniversary - it is 20 years old. There will be special guided tours to mark the occasion. The booklet accompanying the exhibition can be purchased on site. To mark the anniversary, admission to the spring market is free. Catering will be provided. Visitors will find free parking spaces by the castle pond and on the festival meadow in front of the grounds.
