775 Jahre Greifswald - Kulturfest der IGS Erwin Fischer
The IGS Erwin Fischer is organizing a cultural festival for the entire district in the afternoon from 15:00 -19:00 in its schoolyard.
In the afternoon, IGS Erwin Fischer organizes a cultural festival for the entire district in its schoolyard from 15:00 to 19:00. The pupils will present the results of the project days, for example a timeline in the assembly hall. The Musikfabrik provides the musical program together with the pupils. Guests can take part in various workshops or make themselves comfortable in the coffee corner. Grypsi is invited to join in the celebrations and will be available for photos.
On the Day of Schools, everything in Greifswald revolves around the history of the city. On this day, pupils from different year groups dedicate themselves to the history of their home town in a creative way. In various projects, the schools take an in-depth look at historical events, personalities and the development of Greifswald - from its founding to the present day.
A city chronicle for children was compiled especially for the project work at the schools. Like the town hall guide, the Greifswald town chronicle is written in a modern comic style and is particularly suitable for girls and boys of primary school age. City mascot Grypsi guides the reader through the different eras and meets, for example, a monk, Katharina Rubenow and Caspar David Friedrich. As a highlight, Grypsi will visit the schools on this day. The city administration will provide the schools with print editions for their work.
