Open Holiday Workshop – An Introduction to Taxidermy
From dermoplasty to skin-lightening products – see, be amazed, get involved
The specimens that visitors can view in our museum’s exhibitions are created in our taxidermy workshop. However, a large proportion of the specimens produced here are housed in the museum’s storerooms. These collections form the basis for scientific work in a museum. In this open holiday workshop, various taxidermy techniques will be demonstrated and explained. Simple casts can be coloured in.
