Public guided tour "The Baltic Sea - different from other seas"
The free guided tour to mark the 75th anniversary takes museum visitors on a journey through the Baltic Sea and introduces the diverse habitats and various inhabitants of the inland sea.
The Baltic Sea - the largest brackish sea on earth - faces particular challenges with its changing mixture of salt and fresh water. The OZEANEUM's exhibition and aquariums trace the path through the Baltic Sea and along its coasts with their typical biocoenoses. Not only fish, invertebrates and algae of the Baltic Sea are examined in detail, but also birds, mammals and plants of the Baltic Sea region.
Duration: 60 minutes
Meeting point: under the fin whale skeleton on the 1st level
Costs: The guided tour is free of charge with a valid admission ticket. Free guided tour tickets are available at the OZEANEUM ticket offices. The number of tickets is limited.
