Nordic Sound 2026: Baltic Sounds with the music schools from Lund, Kotka and Greifswald - Teachers & learners

It has become a long and beloved tradition that the Greifswald Music School invites music teachers from the northern European twin cities to the Nordic Sound and performs with them in various formations. Welcome guests are once again making their way to us: pianist Esa Ylönen and jazz singer Ella Tepponen are coming from Kotka's music school in Finland. There will also be a reunion with Lund's wind quintet from the local cultural school when exquisite gems of chamber music are on the programme in the baroque university auditorium. The programme includes works by Robert Schumann, Robert Kahn, Uuno Klami, Finnish tangos and jazz.
