"Love in all its facets"

On Valentine's Day, we cordially invite you to a song recital in St Jacob's Church. Under the theme "Love in all its facets", we will be focussing on love from all sides - in partnerships, friendships and families, with feelings ranging from joy to sadness.
Berlin singer-songwriter Gloria Blau will be our guest. Gloria Blau sings songs between pop, soul and chanson with unerring German lyrics that stay in your head. She sings about pain, loss and the irony of fate, but still manages to mix her incorrigible optimism into every drama.
The programme deals with the great theme of love and its many facets. From being newly in love, heartache, sadness and anger to the great love between couples, friends and family.
Look forward to songs by Dolly Parton, Vicky Leandros, Taylor Swift and Gloria Blau - to listen, sway and sing along to.
