Concert, explanation of customs, solstice bonfire

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, we will celebrate the summer solstice at the beautiful Ludwigsburg Palace and Estate - a magical moment that marks the symbolic beginning of summertime. From 8 p.m., you can look forward to a special celebration in the annual cycle, where tradition and music merge in an enchanting way. The music group "Rabengesang" will take you on a journey through time and play songs from the past to the present - to listen to and sing along to. The highlight of the evening is the ceremonial lighting of the solstice bonfire at around 10 p.m., a fascinating ritual that brings the power and magic of the summer solstice bonfire to life. Food and drink will be provided! Admission to the event is free; we ask for donations for the benefit of the musicians and the support association. The midsummer celebration in Ludwigsburg is a wonderful example of how old customs can be interpreted and cultivated in a new way.
